It’s officially No-Shave November. While you may have heard of this event before, you may not know what it pertains to. Well, as the name suggests, participants will forgo shaving and grooming all November long as a way to spread awareness for cancer.
The idea behind this event is to embrace the hair that cancer patients lose while undergoing treatment. Additionally, organizers encourage participants to donate the money they would have spent on grooming to support cancer research and education. Additionally, many people start growing out their hair way before November, so at the end of the month, they can donate it to organizations that make wigs for cancer patients.
